Purpose

The Aquaculture Advisory Board is established as an advisory board in the executive branch of state government. The Aquaculture Advisory Board shall advise the Commissioner on policy matters related to aquaculture.

Term

Four year terms

Composition

The Governor shall appoint the Aquaculture Advisory Board, which shall be composed of seven members who are representative of the interests of the aquaculture industry. The Board shall meet at the call of the Commissioner. Term length and dates were change per: The terms for appointments shall be for four years. Date of terms has been changed to July 1-June 30 of years serving. Chapter 577 S308 April 11, 2022 3.2-1701 (length of term was changed from three to four years as well).
